Fine motor skills

Tanner loves our five straight game. It gives him a chance to use his fine motor skills.
Eventually we had to throw the game away because it got so destroyed but i couldn't bring myself to take it away from him cause he enjoyed it so much. I hope someday to make another one.

empty cupboard and more

We have kept this cupboard empty for one reason...
These little ones love to climb in it. If you do not have an empty cupboard I would highly recommend it :)
I rarely get pictures taken of me so even though these are not the best pics of me I figure they will appreciate them someday:)

 I love these moments :)

These little ones love to color. Unfortunately this table broke shortly after this picture. :(

Our last Soso event of 2013

One of my best friends made this incredible shark out of a watermelon.
It was a luau and Tanner got lots of attention from the little girls.
They made sure he had plenty of lays.
Braden on the other hand took them off as fast as they were put on him.

 These were the fun cupcakes.
They kids made lays ( I am not sure if that is how you spell it) out of noodles.
 Tanner just ate the noodles:)

During the eating part we kept the kids busy with chalk and ...
 water balloons :)

Seth was at the BBQ most of the time. He loved it:)
It was such a fun event and so well attended. :) I love all the friends I made in the soso group this year. I wish I had a picture of all of us. Oh well.

Play kitchen turned battle ship

I'm sure if they were a little older and knew what a battle ship was that is what they would call this.
They each have their own station...
Tanner's is a little snug but he doesn't seem to mind;)

I love Braden's laughing face in the back:)

Sometimes we have to rethink what we thought was a good idea:)
 He is stuck:)
Leave them long enough and they always figure a way out of their mess :)

Daddy farewell's

I made a post a while back of Braden and Seth at the window. Now that Tanner is a little older he has joined the fun. So I decided it was worth another post.
When Seth goes to to school the boys run to the window to say good bye to their daddy, who always takes the time to stop and enjoy the moment no matter how busy he is.

Date night project (coat rack)

For our date night we decided to make a much needed coat rack. I went and got all the wood and supplies while Seth was at school.
After the kids were in bed our date began. It mostly consisted of him putting it together and me talking the whole time. You know us women, we have so much to say:)
At the end of the night this is what it looked like.  It was such a fun date. We love doing projects together.
The next day was the part that the boys got to help with. I painted it and they helped me distress it.
If you look in both the above and below picture they each have a sanding tool;)

Even after it was done Tanner felt like it needed a little more sanding :)
We just love this piece of art. It has a little bit of all of us in it!!!!!!
